Our favorite road trip songs!

We wanted to share our top road trip songs because we recently got a radio! For the last several months I’ve been listening to music in my earbuds, which is cool, but having speakers is so much better! I love how it makes me feel and it has a way of really amplifying a road trip. I love all genres … everything from hip hop to country to classical but I give a lot of spins to bands like The Head and the Heart, Langhorne Slim and the Barr Brothers. If you tend to gravitate towards them also, then definitely give this playlist a listen. And if you think of something I should add or check out, please let me know in the comments below. We love discovering new artists and bands.

Early mornings and late nights…

If you travel by yourself, deciding whether or not you’re going to listen to music is strictly up to you. If you’re traveling with someone, you’re definitely going to need to figure this one out. Some people like to have it on 24/7 and other people like a lot of quiet. Though we have a radio in our car now, we’ll definitely be hanging onto our headphones for the times when one of us wants to rock out and the other doesn’t want to.

Are you on Spotify?!

If so, I’d love to see what you’re listening to. I’m also really curious in learning how you find new artists and musicians. Anybody out there find that their Spotify Discover Weekly playlist can be really hit or miss? For me, some weeks it seems like they (or is it the algorithm) know exactly how to put me on new bands and artists and I love almost all of the suggestions they have for me. Other times it seems like they’ve shared the wrong playlist with me. Either way, we’d love to see and hear what you’re listening to this days.

Who are you listening to these days?! Please leave suggestions on songs or artists we should check out!
