The Best Things of 2017

We’re taking a minute to look back over the things that happened to us in 2017. Most of it was great, some of it was awesome and some of it was pretty awful. Luckily the positive outweighs the negative and for that we are grateful! Below, our year in review.

Tiny House Dreams Become Reality!

Right before we left for our cross country road trip we completed the building of a tiny house in West Asheville! This was easily one of the best things that happened to us this year.

Web Design Goals Were Met

Our goal was to design 12 websites in the first year. I figured it was one a month and though a lofty goal, doable if we worked hard. I am so thankful to report that we created 13 Squarespace websites, 3 of which were featured by Squarespace!

Becoming Ambassadors!

Testing gear for Trailful and becoming ambassadors for Asheville Trails was definitely a highlight of the year!

The same is true for being named to the BLACKRAPID Ambassador team!

Instameets

One thing we are most proud of is organizing and hosting 4 Instameets in Asheville. We’re excited to put on a few more in 2018! All of the events are free and open to all skill levels. Traveling!

Writing and photographing for one of the top travel blogs in the world, Local Adventurer as well as dapperQ, the most widely read style and empowerment website specifically for masculine presenting women and trans-identified individuals! Click here to see some of our most recent work!

Cooking up fresh, live lobster in Maine on our own private FREE piece of coast and waking up to the sound of the lobster boats making their rounds checking traps.

One of the best memories we have is camping together for the first time in a little campground on Edisto Island, South Carolina.

Our Year in Review

Just writing this out makes us realize how very lucky we are. It’s been overall a really great year and though we’ve had some ups and downs, it’s been nothing short of an incredible year. We’re so thankful for those of you that have supported us in our adventure. It’s meant more to us than you could even imagine.
