Hey y’all! We’re really excited to announce that we’ve joined forces with some of the best photographers and social media influencers in Asheville for the first ever #AshevilleInstameet. We’ve organized a creative walk-about downtown, so mark your calendars for Saturday, November 12. We’ll be meeting in Pack Square Park at 9am and exploring some of our city’s best spots. The theme is In-Motion so start thinking about ideas. (Some of our personal favorites are jumpstagrams and stride-bys. We will feature some of the best shots from the tour on our own accounts.) Oh, and you want to know the best part? Everyone is welcome and the event is totally free. Friendly fur babies are invited too but please be aware that animals might not be able to go into some locations. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!

The Green Rover and a Dog named O’Riley.

Yesterday at the Overland Expo at the Biltmore Estate, we met a dog named O’Riley, an adventure-mobile named The Green Rover and a modern day earth-roaming expedition named TeriAnne Wakeman. She has a wealth of information that can be found on her website and in her newly published book titled The Essential Guide to Overland Travel in the United States and Canada. If you’re in town you can pick up a copy at the expo and she’ll even sign it for you. Hurry though, because today’s the last day it’s in town. Otherwise, you can order her book online by visiting http://www.expeditionlandrover.info I love it for not only the practical tips regarding gear selection but for the color photographs she’s included that are her own.
