Asheville, North Carolina

This hike was easy and fun! It’s only a .7 mile hike to the pinnacle of Craggy (1.4 miles round-trip) and the reward is this view! This picture was taken at 5,892 feet!

To hike this yourself take the Blue Ridge Parkway to Milepost 364.4. If you’re coming from Asheville, stop at the Craggy Gardens visitor’s center to pick up a map or use the bathroom and then drive north .25 of a mile through a short tunnel. The parking lot and trailhead will be on your left after exiting the tunnel.
