Inspired by Prolyfyck Run Crew out of Charlottesville, Virginia, in the summer of 2022, Erin started a safe space run club in Asheville. The group started with just a few people and grew to about 10 who met each Friday morning at a different location around Asheville. Over time, it became too good of a thing to keep to ourselves so we opened it up to the community. The first community run took place on February 25th, 2023 and there were about 55 people, runners and walkers, in attendance!
The next BIPOC+LGBTQ+Ally Run will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Start time: 8:30am
Location: 133 Livingston Street – Southside Community Farm
